The Czech Press Agency reports that first reactor of CEZ’s Temelin nuclear power plant will be re-activated by the end of this week (the reactor was de-activated at the beginning of November due to a pump leakage). After the re-activation the 75%-load tests will be completed.
Also, a team of international experts will perform the eighteenth safety assessment in the power plant, the focus is mostly on several implemented safety measures that are disputed by Austrian and German anti-nuclear activists.
