The Czech koruna ignored slightly weaker than expected Czech trade balance, released today morning, and traded higher in the first half of the session. The trading was again calm, also due to holiday in the US. The rest of the day brought only slow return of the rate to final 28,22 CZK/EUR. The koruna though ends only 1 h stronger against the euro.
The CZK/USD rate was calm too. However, the CZK gradually firmed against the dollar and closed at 21,94 CZK/USD. The move was dragged by slow USD weakening against the euro, continuing after worse-than-expected Friday PMI.
