The Czech koruna has ended weaker against the euro, at 28,16 CZK/EUR, correcting the significant yesterday surge. No important local news were released today and so the CZK again followed the overall regional moves.
The koruna has slightly firmed to the USD today and closed at 21,62 CZK/USD. This was helped by current dollar weakness on international markets. The USD dropped yesterday and was hit again by today ISM report, showing worse numbers than expected. But, the rate has found quite strong resistance near 1,3050 and now the eurodollar trades only little changed at 1,3030. Tomorrow, a key event will be the US payrolls. If this number disappoints and the rate breaks above the 1,3050 line, further significant dollar weakening is expected.
