J. Rusnok, the Czech industry minister, said yesterday that Unipetrol could be sold in 12-15 months, and that the new tender should be less strict than the first, which was cancelled last month. He said that OMV, MOL, PKN Orlen and Rotch Energy have all expressed preliminary interest, with interest expected from Russian companies as well. He also said that no minimum price will be set. The minister’s comments yesterday were in line with previous ones on Unipetrol privatization.
