The extended deadline for negotiations with Enel regarding the privatization of Slovenske elektrarne (SE) should end tomorrow. Note that Enel accepted the three conditions imposed by the Slovak government after Economy Minister Pavol Rusko threatened to start negotiations with CEZ or even to cancel the tender altogether as he was disappointed with Enel's slow progress on accepting the state's demands. There were no details regarding the three conditions released. Enel won the SE tender, offering EUR 840m while CEZ finished second with an offer of EUR 690m.
