Slovak Economic Minister P. Rusko said that Enel and CEZ agreed to prolong their offers for the state 66% stake in Slovenske elektrarne (SE) until December 10 when the Slovak cabinet is planning to approve the sale contract to Enel. Note that, last week the cabinet postponed the debate on the sale contract as ministers needed more time to study the documents. CEZ’s CEO, Martin Roman told BBC radio yesterday, that the company may build a new green field power plant in Slovakia close to Polish borders should it definitely lose the SE tender.
