The PX-50 index closed down 0.30% on Friday with a low turnover of USD 24.5m. Most of the stocks traded sideways, the only exception being Cesky Telecom, which gained 1.2% on low turnover. For today we again expect a weakish session and tip banking shares to underperform the market, while defensive stocks like Philip Morris and CEZ might outperform the rest.
Please note that the Czech market is closed for a public holiday tomorrow, i.e. Tuesday, September 28. Trading resumes as normal on Wednesday, September 29.
