Czech equities, as measured by the PX Index, were down by 1.8% for the week, to close at 1,863.4.
The best performing stock during the past week was Unipetrol, which saw its shares move up by 2.45%. CEZ has been continuing its share-buy-back program but last week saw these shares head down by 2.11%. Textile producer Pegas Nonwovens was up by 1.5% as ING sold 43.4% of the shares of Pegas Nonwovens, which were owned by Pamplona Capital Partners. We don't expect any important corporate news out this week, although the usual macroeconomic data will be released.
