On Monday morning the Czech koruna tried
to strengthen and break up the 31.50 levels
per euro. However, a U.S. bank appeared
on the bid side of the market and put on the
brake and stopped strengthening of the
koruna. Later the rate EUR/CZK hovered in
a narrow range of 31.55. and 31.58 during
the prevailing part of the trading session.
Nevertheless, just before the close foreign
investor selling orders weakened the Czech currency to 31.67.
