The PX-50 index closed down 0.45% to 759.7 points in a quiet session with lack of interest. Komercni banka caught many by surprise as it again traded with a large intraday volatility (CZK 2,700-2,790). KB failed to follow the weakness of its CE3 peers, which traded substantially lower. The rest of the market was better sold by mostly domestic brokerage accounts. The announcement of an CZK 8 per share dividend from CEZ failed to inspire buyers to step in as it was a widely expected event. Volume in the SPAD trading system reached USD 31.23m.
