Yesterday the rate EUR/USD opened at 1.1700. In Europe the euro depreciated to 1.1667 in the morning. By mid-session the European currency was supported by ECB representative comments and American share market slips and the euro fell back to 1.1828. Then the rate EUR/USD closed at 1.1815 in the U.S. Investors will keep a close eye on American initial claims today, movements on share market might also influence the rate. The currency pair EUR/USD opened at 1.1820 in the morning and should move between 1.1770 and 1.1870 today.
