On Monday the Czech currency weakened versus both main currencies. The slip
of the koruna may be set to foreign players buying the euro. The rate
EUR/CZK opened at 32,180, the koruna was depreciating to 32,230 in the
morning, went on weakening in the afternoon to 32,265 and closed at 32,260.
The rate USD/CZK began at 28,660 and after a volatile trading session closed
This morning the currency pair EUR/CZK opened at 32,300 and
should move within a range of 32,150 and 32,450. The koruna opened at 29,050
against the dollar today and should stay between 28,800 and 29,250. There
are no important events on domestic scene that might influence the rates.
