The PX-50 index ended almost flat on Friday, although some shares posted substantial gains on the day. Philip Morris was the strongest performer among local names, gaining over 5% on the day. The stock was well bid among domestic institutional accounts as it was technically rebounding from oversold territory. All other major names closed virtually unchanged. We expect a similar pattern for today, with the index trading mostly in positive territory.
Please note that the Czech market is closed on Friday 28 due to a public holiday. Trading resumes on Monday, October 31 as normal.
