The trading with the Czech koruna was livelier on Friday than on previous days. The koruna was under pressure and weakened down to 33.23 for the euro. Dealers were getting rid of Czech korunas and were buying the Slovak koruna that was strengthening. The Czech koruna slightly weakened only after the words of the CNB governor, Mr. Tuma, who said that too quick introduction of the euro could be risky for the Czech economy. Slight pressure on weakening of the Czech koruna can be seen even today, unless the NBS does not threaten with an intervention against the Slovak koruna.
