The PX-50 index gained 0.65% to 449.9 points on Friday. Cesky Telecom was the top gainer, adding 4.5% to its value; the share price strengthened after Thursday’s news reports concerning possible share buyouts in the company’s privatization. Other names were mixed. Komercni banka added 0.9%, and CEZ lost 1.3%. Volume in the SPAD was an above-average USD 20.62 mil. We expect trading to begin on a quiet note today, with investors likely to closely watch Komercni banka and Cesky Telecom.
