The Czech main index, the PX-50 edged slightly stronger in thin trading (0.1%),
pulled up by Orco (+1.5%), Philip Morris (+1.1%) and Cesky Telecom (+0.6%).
CEZ however dipped 0.2% on mild profit taking. It has officially expressed interest
in taking part in the privatization of Macedonia's power distributor AD ESM. Trading
turnover dropped to CZK 2.4bn from CZK 4.7bn on Thursday.
