CT is going to release its preliminary FY2004 IFRS results today at 1:00pm CET. The conference call relating to the results is to be held at 6:30pm CET.
Yesterday the privatization committee approved a procedural letter defining the rules for the second round and the submission of final bids for the tender for the state’s 51% stake in CT. The committee also discussed the main points of the transaction documentation. No further details were released. Note that final bids are due by March 29.
Domestic financial group PPF/J&T, which originally teamed up with local data provider InWay, has reportedly formed a consortium with Tiscali. Note that the privatization committee now requires financial groups to team up with a ‘significant’ operator, and InWay was not considered one. The privatization committee was expected to define the term ‘significant’ operator yesterday, but no details/outcome was published.
