The PX-50 index closed down 0.47% at 628.6 points yesterday. The market opened with a substantial selling flow as domestic accounts made stop losses in CEZ and Komercni banka. Cesky Telecom’s stock price moved lower on a low volume and marginally recovered to CZK 276 level toward yesterday’s close. Foreign sellers were not as aggressive in off-loading their holdings as they were on Wednesday, though we were net sellers of the market on the day. Unipetrol stock did not respond to its worse-than-expected 9M figures, reported yesterday, and confusion surrounding Cesky Telecom’s EGM was not reflected in the market price. And finally, the market seemed to absorb the dismissal of the CEZ board chairman yesterday. Volume in the SPAD trading system reached USD 31.13m yesterday.
