The PX 50 index rose 0.32% to 344.2 points on Tuesday. After a very aggressive opening, when most Czech blue chips were pushed higher, the session grew quiet. Cesky Telecom, the second most-active stock, lost 1.5% to CZK 251.20, but traded early in the day as high as CZK 267.5. There are investors interested in CEZ, where the privatization process gathers momentum; the stock rose 2.1% to CZK 60.70 per share. The overall market volume was quite low on Tuesday, at USD 7.4 mil.
