CR is scheduled to make a presentation today to the FWA (fixed wireless access) tender committee. Unlike Cesky Telecom, Ceske radiokomunikace has a chance of qualifying for the tender, and the tender committee should make a decision on this soon. Three FWA licenses are to be issued, each for a fixed fee of CZK 150 mil. Ceske radiokomunikace’s stock stands to benefit should the company be allowed to participate in the tender (and, of course, if it wins a license in the end). The licenses will be awarded in September.
