According to CTK, Temelin’s first block is expected to be connected to the grid today after two months outage, said spokesperson Marek Svitak. The capacity of the first block is going to increase by 26MW to 1020MW. The upgrading of the first block cost around CZK 700m. Our view: The first block will be connected to the grid sooner than it was planned; initially the date was set approximately for 4 October. Currently the second block at Dukovany is going through scheduled outage and it is planned that it will be connected to the grid in the middle of November. In addition the fourth block at Dukovany will have scheduled outage at the end of November and it will last one month.
