The PX-50 index fell 0.44% yesterday as the market continued to trade on a thin volume with limited investor interest. Both Komercni banka and Erste Bank recorded their respective 52-week highs. Komercni banka was well bid: foreign accounts were later joined by domestic buyers. CEZ is still well bid among local accounts. Cesky Telecom started trading later in the afternoon, but volume was still thin and insignificant. We expect activity to even decrease in coming days as most of the markets will be closed on Friday (the Czech market is opened on Friday, but closed on Monday, April 12th). Volume in the SPAD system reached USD 34.23m.
