The PX-50 added 0.28% to 678.8 points yesterday. Volume in the SPAD trading systém reached USD 40m. Investor activity focused on Cesky Telecom, Komercni banka and Unipetrol. More than 1m CT shares changed hands at the CZK 290 level. Foreign orders on both sides dominated the trading. KB was in demand by foreign investors as well, and its stock added 0.4% on a good volume. Unipetrol was the only stock in the red; local investors were taking profits and the stock lost 2.9% on a heavy volume. Erste Bank closed yesterday on its fresh all-time high above CZK 3,400 per share. Today we again expect higher activity; most of the stocks will likely be traded on the upside.
