The PX-50 index closed down a marginal 0.05% to 552.40 points on Friday. Philip Morris CR led the gainers as it rallied up to over CZK 12,000 on both domestic and international demand, adding 1.22% on the day. The stock’s dividend yield (approx. 11-12%) continues to attract investors, and is the main reason behind the price growth.
Today, the market is expected to trade in a narrow range, holding its current level. Volume is likely to be low as UK and US markets are closed for holidays. The volume here on Friday reached USD 14.08 mil.
