Euro Online reports that the finance minister, B. Sobotka, has asked the Cabinet to put-off its discussion of the Cesky Telecom privatization contract until the end of October, previously it was planned for October 15.
Since it is likely that the sale contract would be signed approx. two weeks following Cabinet approval, the signature date would shift to mid-November.
Separately, Cabinet will discuss an amendment to the telecommunication law today that should enable local-loop leasing.
