Five leading fixed-line competitors of Cesky Telecom, including Contactel (50% owned by Ceske radiokomunikace), submitted a complaint to the Czech Anti-Monopoly Office regarding Cesky Telecom’s new tariff packages (effective February 2002). The AMO is currently engaged in an investigation into the packages. (The key issues are the lowest-tariff “Home Mini” package, which denies its subscribers choice of operator on a call-by-call basis, and the use of free minutes in the packages.) Neutral.
