The government’s privatization committee for Cesky Telecom should today review the preliminary bids submitted last week in the CT tender and short-list the bidders.
The deputy finance minister, Tomas Potmesil, said yesterday that “he can imagine” the state selling its stake in CT for CZK 80 bil., which implies CZK 485 per share. The very vague statement corresponds to earlier reports of the government’s expectations, and did not have impact on the stock price yesterday.
