Prague lost 1.35% on Friday as major TMT stocks were hit again amid concerns of a global economic slowdown. Cesky Telecom lost 1.75%, to CZK 426.70, on no particular trading interest; only 399,000 shares changed hands. CEZ enjoyed good volume again, exceeding 1 mil. shares on Friday. However, there seems to be a significant selling flow and the question is how long the market will be able to absorb it. Total market volume reached USD 12.38 mil. on Friday. We expect the market to be down again today. We will be closely watching Ceske radiokomunikace as today is the deadline for the submission of binding bids.
