Prague lost 2.44% on Thursday as the growth concerns of some major US companies affected the market here once again. Major losses came after US Motorola statement about Q4 estimates; locals and international accounts thus quickly sold short Cesky Telecom, Ceske Radio and CEZ. CEZ was the worst hit, down 4.29% to CZK 91.74, and Cesky Telecom lost 2.51% to CZK 424. The market here lacks truly positive domestic news that would limit the unfavorable impact that major markets can have on local trading. Total volume reached USD 13.68 mil. on Thursday.
