The Prague’s market firmed led by banks and Orco. Volume remains well below daily average. Telefónica O2 CR (Cesky Tel) flirted with CZK 490, but failed to hold even CZK 488 level. Orco was the winner of the day gaining almost 3% after reporting better than expected 1H06 net income. Erste Bank as well as Komercni banka gained on the back of international demand. Philip Morris CR continues in its recovery after recent free fall, but sellers appeared at CZK 9,400 level. Zentiva increased on mixed demand. CEZ fell after the late profit taking and slightly decreased. Unipetrol showed the worst performance being offered by local players.
