The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris has admitted an extension of the claim lodged in the relevant arbitration by Electrica S.A. of Romania against CEZ, a.s. The claim has thus increased to 82 mil. EUR (2 bln. CZK) from the original damages 18.8 mil. EUR sought at the start of the proceeding in October 2012. CEZ considers Electrica's claim as absolutely ungrounded and has moved that the petition be rejected. / The petition is based on an alleged failure of CEZ to honor certain obligations arising from the Privatization Agreement of 2005. NEUTRAL at this stage in our view.
