CEZ said that it will replace the whole 4x200MW of capacity at the coal-fired power plant Tusimice with new technology with a life-time of 25 years. The available coal within current mining limits corresponds to the technology’s life-time. Replacement work should start in the 2H2007 and in 2H2009 at the other two blocks. The total CAPEX are expected at CZK15bn. The replacement is part of CEZ’s plan to replace about 5,700 MW of its capacity after 2010.
