The PX-50 index gained 0.32% on Friday in what was a relatively quiet session with a lack of domestic news. Total volume in the SPAD system reached only USD 42.71m. Erste Bank was the day's best performer, adding 3.3% after a series of initiations from London-based houses. Erste was actually the only heavyweight leading the main benchmark into positive territory. The rest of the market traded in a narrow range with marginal price volatility. CEZ is still among the closest watched names but finally seems to have found resistance at the CZK 240 level with some of the local sellers selling at this limit. For today, we continue to expect narrow range trading and average volumes.
