The Czech koruna kept on last week's weakening yesterday and reached as far as 32.60 for one Euro. Weakening of the koruna is apparently contributed also by financing purchases of the Slovak koruna with selling the Czech one, which could be seen many times in recent weeks. The koruna is under pressure also for the reasons of home affairs. Today, the Parliament is going to discuss the VAT bill that was vetoed by the President. The government coalition is missing some sick MPs so it has lost its narrow majority.
This morning the rate EUR/CZK opened at 32,545 and at 27,305 against the dollar.
