The PX-50 index lost 0.5% yesterday as investors took profits in most blue chips. Volume in the SPAD trading system was a whopping USD 50 mil. Ceske radiokomunikace was the biggest loser, down 2.9%, CEZ lost 1.8% and it saw more than 3 mil. of its shares traded. Komercni banka lost 0.4% but stayed above CZK 2,600. The main gainer yesterday was Philip Morris CR, which rose 3.4% and closed an all-time high of CZK 15,140. For today, we expect above-average activity on the market, Philip Morris CR might be hit by profit taking as it has gained 10% in the past two sessions, while other titles will likely hold their current levels.
