(Milan Procházka) The PX-50 index gained 1.51% on Thursday, to 374.6 points. The recovery of Cesky Telecom shares after recent sharp declines led the Czech index higher. Cesky Telecom was the most actively traded stock, dramatically rising 5.67% to CZK 262.80. The day’s low was CZK 229.60. CEZ was the second most active stock in terms of volume (CZK 114 mil.), over 1.4 mil shares changed hands, but the stock closed almost unchanged at CZK 80.12 (+0.09%). Total volume reached USD 11.5 mil. on Thursday.
