The PX-50 index gained 0.68% to 385.70 points on Monday in a quiet session noted for the limited participation of both international as well as domestic investors. The gainer of the day was Ceske radiokomunikace, adding 7.42% to CZK 376.50. The stock trades with a wide spread and therefore any execution represents a significant relative change; there was no news to account for an impulse yesterday. Cesky Telecom, after confirming its acquisition of a 49% stake in Eurotel, added an insignificant 1.62%, to CZK 332.80. Today the market will await the 6M results of Cesky Telecom, CEZ, Komercni, Unipetrol and Philip Morris CR. We, however, believe that the overall market activity will be low today. Total volume reached USD 5.52 mil. yesterday.
