As expected, Tuesday’s trading was uneventful ahead of yesterday’s Federal Reserve meeting in the US. The PX-50 index lost 0.17%, to 415.90 points, and overall volume was very low at USD 5.87 mil. The gainer of the day was Ceske radio, gaining 2.91%, to CZK 527, after a one-time lift-off before trading closed. Other names traded in line with European indices and US interest-rate expectations. For today, domestic investors will once again look abroad for direction as US equities’ reaction to the Fed’s rate cut once again seems ambiguous.
