Unipetrol will release its consolidated QI 2001 CAS results on Wednesday. Since the subsidiaries’ results have been already released, the consolidated numbers should not bring a major surprise. The only new thing is the impact of newly acquired subsidiaries on consolidated numbers (Paramo, Aliachem), since these subsidiaries were not part of the holding one year ago. Last week’s subsidiary figures were rather disappointing - Ceska Rafinerska, Paramo and Benzina’s low profitability was not compensated by better-than-expected performance of Kaucuk (rising margins) and Chemopetrol (rising sales and margins).
