The Prague PX-50 index lost 3.06% Thursday as heavyweight Cesky Telecom lost more than 6.34%. The stock, under strong pressure to sell throughout the day, traded as low as CZK 382 with a high volume of more than 693,399 shares changing hands. There was however demand for the stock at levels below CZK 400 from both international and domestic investors. Other stocks felt the same strong pressure, Ceske radio lost 4.39% to CZK 772.50 as privatization bids continued to disappoint investors. Total Thursday volume reached USD 16.67 mil.
