A National Property Fund spokeswoman confirmed yesterday that binding bids for the state’s 60% stake in KB are expected in April. Moreover, the NPF head said that the Cabinet could make a final decision on the tender winner in the second half of May. This also corresponds to market expectations, and therefore we do not expect any response from the stock. The four contenders are HypoVereinsbank, UniCredito, Societe General and Credit Agricole. Separately, KB’s audited 2000 IAS results will be released on March 29.
