Prague added 1.68% on Friday, led by CEZ and the Ceske radiokomunikace (CR). CEZ had good momentum and volume for the third consecutive day-finally breaking the CZK 100 level-adding 2.68% to CZK 103.24. More than 1.8 mil. CEZ shares changed hands on Friday. Ceske radiokomunikace added 2.72%, to CZK 1,321, in the last two minutes of trading, as a foreign buyer lifted the market. The stock might benefit from Deutsche Telekom’s continued effort to acquire TeleDanmark, Ceske radiokomunikace’s 20.7% owner, and one of the four short-listed bidders for CR. Overall, market volume reached USD 14.43 mil. on Friday.
