The PX-50 index added 0.6% to 853.6 points yesterday on lower activity ahead of the holidays. Investors again focused mostly on Cesky Telecom and Komercni banka, with Cesky Telecom adding 0.6% on continuing foreign demand and Komercni banka gaining 0.2% on the ongoing money inflow into the banking sector. CEZ rebounded 1.1% after the bigger selling pressure eased, but volume was only moderate. For today we expect a quiet session with low activity, and the index is likely to remain in positive territory.
Note that the Prague Stock Exchange is closed on Monday due to a public holiday in the Czech Republic.
