The PX-50 index lost 0.82% to 374.50 points yesterday as Ceske radio led the decliners. The stock lost more than 7% after it was announced that Cabinet would not discuss the TDC/Deutsche Bank bid for the majority stake in the company at its weekly meeting today; the stock closed at CZK 407.50. Cesky Telecom and Ceska sporitelna also weakened after US markets opened in negative territory. Overall, trading here was limited, with most of the volume generated by local brokers. Total volume reached USD 15.43 mil.
