The PX-50 index in Prague gained 0.40% to 427.20 points in a rather quiet trading session Thursday. Komercni banka has found its way back above CZK 1,100 again as the market concluded that a recent report regarding lower privatization bids was unreliable. Cesky Telecom lost 1.78% to CZK 380.60, with only 138,000 shares traded. Total volume reached USD 12.81 mil. Today, the focus will likely be on Komercni, where the privatization tender process is peaking (Cabinet may decide on the tender winner next week) but, again today, fresh reports (see below) question the market consensus on the selling price.
