The PX-50 index lost 2.07% to 374.40 points yesterday as Cesky Telecom plummeted by 8.96%, to CZK 294.80, trading as low as CZK 277 per share inter-day. A strong seller initiated the stock’s weakness, which was followed by a number of stop losses and margin calls from retail brokers. The stock registered a good volume - more than 1.26 mil. shares changed hands. CEZ was the second most active name, more than 2 mil shares traded. CEZ added 1.83% to CZK 80.69. Other names moved sideways. Today, we might see an upward correction in Cesky Telecom and its return above CZK 300. Total market volume reached USD 19.41 mil. on Wednesday.
