Czech Cabinet yesterday agreed that the buyer of the government’s stakes in CEZ and six regional distributors will face restrictions on lay-offs of workers close to retirement and will have to commit itself to maintaining “the highest possible” level of employment for a period of five years. These restrictions will not help the selling price, but we do not expect the market to react to this move.
