Prague lost 1.82% on Tuesday in a volatile trading session. Worst hit was Ceske radio, down 3.5% at CZK 1,527, on foreign selling from a number of London institutions. Cesky Telecom traded in a CZK 542-568 range and ended down 1.86% at CZK 549.30. Komercni traded in a heavy volume of 267,700 shares, found mostly sellers during the day, but resisted further decline around the CZK 800 level. We still do not foresee a major recovery any time soon; rather, a minor technical correction might be expected today ahead of Thursday’s public holiday. In the medium term, we see a declining trend in Ceske Radio shares and increased interest in buying CEZ. Volumes reached USD 12.9 mil.
