The market closed deep in the red numbers being sold by foreign accounts and selling pressure accelerated after US payroll figures. Philip Morris was the only stock closing in positive territory. CEZ dropped to CZK 785 level as was offered for the whole day while bids were weak. Telefonica O2 CR got hit down to CZK 431 in the morning, but recovered somewhat along with interest from local investors.
Komercni banka fell below CZK 3,300 level without any buyers. Erste Bank declined even though it was traded at EUR 50 almost for the whole day, but was aggressively sold off after US figures. Philip Morris jumped over 2% as market makers covered short positions after the stock crossed CZK 10,000 level. Traded volumes remain thin.
