CTK confirmed the HN daily report that the privatization method for the state's stake in CT is to be decided by the Cabinet on November 15. The Ministry of Finance should then prepare a detailed plan and timetable for the chosen method and present it to the Cabinet by December 15th. Note that the privatization committee recommended a sale through a capital markets transaction. Individual ministries are now debating draft material prepared by the Finance Ministry - the Finance Ministry favours a capital markets transaction too. According to IT Minister Vladimir Mlynar individual ministers are split on the privatization form. Separately, NPF deputy chairman P. Kuta repeated that potential demand for a direct sale is quite good, although potential bidders are waiting for the government to choose the privatization form before making any commitment.
